There are already versions for several different APLs here. You may recognize the one you want by its extender, but if you don't find it, there is a WSIS0 file in the ISO APL Workspace Interchange Format which may be used to create the workspace for your favorite APL. The files so far are these: 3157 May 26 18:10 announcement.ljd 1962 Jun 20 22:21 versions This file 3355 May 12 11:03 readme x 467399 Jun 1 06:18 toolkit.aws STSC APL Plus PC 491680 May 25 20:54 toolkit.slt STSC source level transfer format 463546 May 19 11:29 toolkit.atf APL2/PC Transfer File 562696 May 19 11:24 toolkit.apl APL2/PC 32 bit 475698 May 18 21:34 toolkit.ws STSC APL Plus II, version 3, loadable 426656 May 15 01:32 toolkit-.saw Sharp APL workspace 488000 May 12 10:23 toolkit.wsis0 WSIS0, WorkSpace Interchange Standard Comments: Phil Viton, , has provided us with the version of tthe Toronto Toolkit which will run under the non-386 version STSC APL/PC. Phil reminds users of stsc apl-plus/pc that they will almost certainly need a very large virtual workspace (the vws signon option) if they wish to run the informational function describe. He has also included an alternative, called DESCRIBE (in uppercase) which differs from the one supplied in that after writing to the screen the info requested, it then pauses and waits for the user to press a key before replacing the master menu. The original version immediately replaced the master menu, and the user lost whatever was on the screen. Problems: If you know how to fix any of these problems, please help. (1) .atf We have reports that the .atf file does not work for APL2 (mainframe), because the line terminators are different. (2) .slt The .slt file apparently work only with STSC APL plus II, and not with the pre-386 versions. total 3402
