I am going to run a small APL course to increase our employees'
awareness of APL. Are there any good APL books for people at the
novice, intermediate and expert levels? Can anyone recommend to good
way to introduce/teach APL to novices? I have never taught a course
before so any suggestions would be appreciated. My audience will be
approx. 10-20 Electrical/Computer Engineers and some Electronic test
technicians. I will be using APL PLUS III for windows by Manugistics.

I have heard of an APL dervitive called J. Can someone breifly describe
what J is and how it is different/better/worse than APL?

Thanks in advance
Leigh Whitcomb
