   This presentation will describe the programming language
   'A' used at Morgan Stanley.  The specifics of the presentation
   are not yet available, but you might expect a comparison and
   discussion of the languages A, APL, and J, plus a demonstration
   of todays state of the art financial trading software.


   Also, Arthur wrote the original interpreter fragment for the
   J programming language found on page 74 of Iverson Software's
   "An Implementation of J". Study this hack then come and ask
   him some questions.
   

   Location:  Syntex Laboratories Building A2, Room 1, 3401 Hillview
   Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94303.

   Directions: From I-280, take Page Mill Road East to
   Foothill Expressway and turn South.  At first light turn right
   onto Hillview and go to second Syntex entrance on the left and
   find building A2.  From 101 take Oregon Expressway West.   It 
   becomes Page Mill Road.  At Foothill Expressway turn South 
   and follow instructions above.  Once there, park near two flags
