This looks really great. Maybe it could be the start to solve a lot of problems
which have been discussed here, and which, I think, all boil down to this, lack
of proper communication of APL code.
I do not know enough about the different interpreters to really help in a
decision of which scheme is best, but since this has already been done (and, I
assume, competently), I would strongly support this proposal.
All that would be left, then, would be to make the translation functions for
each interpreter. I think that here, also, a little standardization would
be quite an advantage. I would therefore like to suggest that some of the 
more knowlegeable people out there could probably put up adequate functions
for each of the main systems (please do not forget APL2) which could then be
used as a standard for code transliteration. I think the existence of an 
available set of such functions would be an important element in encouraging
people to exchange code accross the net.
