The April meeting will be Wednesday (not Thursday as usual in the past),
April 21, at 5:30 PM at North American Philips, 100 East 42nd Street, 4th
Floor, New York City [across 42nd Street from Grand Central Station].

The speaker will be me, Michael Kent, and the topic is "Experience Using
Objects". I will talk a bit about how the object layer is implemented,
but I will concentrate on using object technology to create application
building blocks. The software will be available on 3.5" DOS diskettes
for both APL2/PC and APL*PLUS II; there will be two versions, a stable but
limited cut [slightly ahead of what I talked on at Tool of Thought], and
whatever state the work-in-progress has reached in the next week. It is,
of course, free (and well worth the cost). However, at this price, I'd
like to have an idea in advance how many copies to make up; if you are
comming to the meeting and want a copy, please reply >> via e-mail << to:
