Pedro,

Please do go ahead and ask those questions.  We get those all the time
on our groups and there are lots of people who really enjoy answering
that kind of question.

More reasons why there's less talk about APL than J:

  The character set.  Obviously.

  There are different releases, but there's basically only one
dialect of J (as I understand it.)  There are quite a few dialects
of APL and I know I sometimes hesitate to answer questions because
I'm not sure what dialect the author uses.
