Here at IBM Boulder relatively few people append even in our internal fora,
much less outside. This statement also seems to apply to the general
population in the IBM Federal Systems Company, to which I belong. There is
some feeling here that time spent browsing or appending to fora is a waste
of the taxpayers' and/or IBM's money. In some cases it may even be true.

We have quite a few APL2ers, but they don't seem to be any more insular
than any other group. However, they do seem to be busier than most.
