Roger Hui, who is the author of the J interpreter, will speak to the
APL BUG about the implementation of J in C, and will discuss tacit
definition with J. *Roger is coming to the APL BUG as an ACM lecturer.*

J is Kenneth Iverson's successor to APL intended as "a tool for writing
and teaching. ... a simple, precise, executable notation for the
teaching of a wide range of subjects." [K. E. Iverson, "A personal
view of APL", IBM Syst. J., Vol. 30, no. 4, pp. 582-593 (1991)]
