I have used iapl, and found it "ok" especially for the price, but being
a long-time IBM mainframe APL programmer (but admittedly years ago), I wanted
a standard keyboard layout. I called Iverson and asked if their layout was
standard, they said yes, so I ordered it.
I now find it is not standard - uses alt keys, and even the most-used
assign key is moved. Anyone know - can't tell from the meager docs - if
Ivarson APL can re-map the keyboard to STANDARD APL, i.e. upper case only,
with ] key being assign, etc?
Also I don't like colored backgrounds - can that be "fixed"? Maybe too
many years staring at mainframe green-on-black has made that my favorite (or
amber, or turquoise) - heh.
Otherwise it looks like a nice implementation, good price.
