Now that you've been straightened out on nonces, some simple J code
does exist to do eigen analysis. Lee Dickey posted it here, so it's
probably available from waterloo. I have a copy. Of course if you
really want good stuff you should link in EISPACK or LAPACK routines
(which is where I expect c. will come from via f2c).
