Just a note on the recent posting of the capabilities of AGSS.  I believe that 
if you run it under MS-DOS you must use the 386-specific version of the APL2 
interpreter (which is supplied when you buy APL2/PC v.1.02).  The problem is 
that the 386 interpreter will only run under MS-DOS if you have no memory 
manager of any kind installed - the product is incompatible with, eg, QEMM, 
386MAX, or even Microsoft's own memory manager EMM386.  So if you're running 
the non-386 verstion of APL2/pc, even on a 386, you will be unable to use AGSS.

I understand that APL2/PC-386 runs under IBMs OS/2, so you would be able to use
AGSS if you used that operating syystem - but I've not confirmed this.

I just with that IBM would use a stdandard memory manager, so that I could use 
the 386-interpreter without having to move to OS/2!
