WHEN DISASTER STRIKES - Restoring Corrupted APL*PLUS Workspaces

The speaker will describe the structure of APL*PLUS files and
workspaces, enabling the user to read functions and variables
from the DOS environment, without entering APL.

All are welcome.

Visitors to the Washington, D.C. area are especially invited to
plan to visit our meetings (see Future Meetings below). Our
meetings are very accessible.

APL SIG meetings are held at the Capital PC User Group offices at
51 Monroe St., Lobby Level, Plaza East 2, Rockville, MD 20850.
The outside doors lock at 7:00 PM. You can use the security
phone by the door to tell the officer you are attending a Capital
PC User Group meeting. Late announcements and directions are
available by calling CPCUG Voice Information at (301) 762-6775.

By metro, take the Red Line to Rockville. Go left through the
West Exit, up two floors to the B level, and across the enclosed
walkway toward Rockville Center, over Hungerford Drive. Go into
the first entrance to the building on the left (51 Monroe Street)
and bear left.

By auto from Interstate Route 270 take Exit 6A East (W.
Montgomery Ave., MD Route 28) toward Rockville. Drive East about
1.4 miles on MD Route 28 toward Rockville (MD Route 28 becomes W.
Jefferson Street, then E. Jefferson Street) to the intersection
with Monroe Street. This intersection has a traffic light (the
fifth traffic light past where I-270 Northbound traffic enters MD
Route 28 to travel East) and, most noticeably, a Potomac Valley
Bank on the Northwest corner. Turn left (North) into Monroe
Street. Go one block to the stop sign. Proceed on Monroe Street
to the right around the corner. 51 Monroe Street is immediately
on your left as you turn the corner (see the entrance with the
red awning). The parking garage is under the building to the
right of the entrance.

From MD Route 355 (Hungerford Drive, Rockville Pike) drive West
one block on MD Route 28 (E. Jefferson Street) toward Interstate
270. At the first intersection (by the Potomac Valley Bank) turn
right (North) into Monroe Street. Go one block to the stop sign.
Proceed on Monroe Street to the right around the corner. 51
Monroe Street is immediately on your left as you turn the corner
(see the entrance with the red awning). The parking garage is
under the building to the right of the entrance.
