I recently downloaded the public domain APL interpreter for MS-DOS
from SIMTEL. It seems to provide a decent character set and I'd like
to spend some time learning APL. I went to three local bookstores that
usually contain the best selections of computer topics and found only
one book on APL and one on APL2(?). I would like to know if anyone can
suggest a GOOD book for learning APL. I'm a mathematics major and
accomplished C programmer, so I'm ready to get right into APL syntax
and elegant mathematical problem solving using APL.
