I just received my copy of apli386 from Iverson Software in Toronto
and I can't seem to find out how to use the 'documented' 50 line mode.
I have a ati oem 1024 card so the hardware is now problem....

On entry into APLI386, the status line (the top line) contains "F1-HELP".
Pressing F1 evokes a menu, which contains the item

   (e) Keyboard Actions

Selecting this item brings up a description of various keyboard actions,
including the following entry:

CTRL-F1 reloads EGA/VGA fonts and changes number of VGA rows.
