This is my fifth survey of APL users. Previous surveys
were done in 1983, 1984, and 1985, and 1989.

The questions this year are:

Which APL interpreter do you use?
		(a)
	On what Hardware?
		(h)
	What Operating system?
		(o)
Do you regularly move APL code from one
	kind of APL to another?
		(w) ___ (yes or no)
If yes, how do you do it:
			(w0)	WSIS0 (1979)
			(w1)	WSIS1 (1985)
			(w2)	Transfer Form ( []TF )
			(w3)	)OUT, )IN
			(w4)	PP
			(wO)	________ (other?)
Do you translate APL to some other language,
either on occasionaly, or a regular basis?
		(t) ___ (yes or no)
If yes, to what target language?
			(tA)	Ada
			(tF)	Fortran
			(tC)	C or C++
			(tO)	________ (other?)
		Are you doing automatic translation?
			(t?)	___ (yes or no)

If you know of someone who uses APL but might not see or respond to these
questions, and if you know the answers, you might respond for them.

A summary of responses will be posted to "net.lang.apl" in about a month.

Please respond by mail. I anticipate more answers than came in previous
years, so I will try to use some form of automatic tabulation. Please
edit this message and return the appropriate lines with parentheses ().
Thank you.

If your mailer requires you to specify a path, some machines that
talk to us are:

	uunet
	relay.cs.net
	relay.ubc.ca
	cunyvm.cuny.edu

If you are on BITNET or you may write to me at LJDICKEY at WATDCS.

If you use more than one APL, Computer, or operating system,
please send separate mail message about each.
